IBRN Launch Workshop

On Wednesday, 27 March, BISRU hosted the inaugural blast injury workshop in collaboration with the International Blast Injury Research Network (IBRN) and the University of Southampton. The workshop provided a multi-disciplinary environment where engineers, clinicians and industry experts could weigh in on blast events and injuries. This included discussions surrounding landmine removal and the explosive remnants of war (ERW) legislation, prevention and treatment of blast injuries and where we should focus our research efforts next to make a difference.
